Introduction to Matt Joyce, our new Lead Sports Consultant.

With a wealth of experience in recruitment and a passion for sports, Matt joins Sporting Jobs as a valuable asset, bringing unique insights and expertise to the company.
Prior to joining Sporting Jobs, Matt accumulated 18 months of experience in recruitment within the public sector. Drawing from his successful career start, Matt has eagerly sought to merge his professional expertise with his lifelong passion for sports. His dynamic background and commitment to excellence make him an ideal fit for Sporting Jobs' mission of connecting top talent with elite opportunities in the sports sector.
Beyond his professional endeavours, Matt also serves as an Assistant Referee for the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), showcasing his dedication to the sport both on and off the field. Earlier this year, Matt graced the sidelines of a match attended by an impressive crowd of 32,000 spectators, underscoring his proficiency in managing high-pressure environments.

Outside of work, Matt competes in Hyrox. Hyrox is a global fitness competition that combines running and functional fitness exercises, challenging participants to complete various physical tasks within a designated time frame. He has successfully completed events in London and Poland whilst setting his sights on an Ironman event in the future.
